REN21 has recently published its new Renewables Interactive Map (Beta Version), which is now available on the REN21 website. This map offers an abundance of information on countries' current and planned use of renewable energies.

Global Status Report on Local Renewable Energy Policies
The Global Status Report on Local Renewable Energy Policies is a collaborative effort by REN21 - the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century, ISEP - Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies, and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability. Led by Eric Martinot, this report provides a survey and summarizes renewable energy policies for over 160 cities and local governments around the world, and provides brief case descriptions for about 30 of these cities.
The first Global Status Report on Local Renewable Energy Policies was published as a draft in June, 2009. Continuous updates will be made.

The Renewables Global Status Report on Energy was published by REN21 - the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century in May 2009. The report gives details about growth in many renewable energy sectors, and highlights renewable energy's strength in times of financial downturn.
